Typical hall made of frontal disks, frames and metal-sheet roof structure

Abstract

The author presents derivation of simple models for determining response values of a typical hall composed of frontal walls or lattices, cross frames and the roof structure assembled using trapezoidal sheets and chords. The load is oriented in the transverse direction of the hall. The spatial interaction between the cited structural elements is taken into account. Two numerical examples have been prepared. Models for basic period of lateral vibration of the system itself are also provided. The contribution to the achievement of economical and esthetically favorable solutions is emphasized.
