Željko Koški

Abstract

The author presents results that have given rise to the proposal for reconstruction of family houses which takes into account the need to preserve typology and morphology of Slavonian settlements. The history of development of traditional Slavonian houses with features for making use of solar radiation, is presented. It is demonstrated that a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the modern architectural and energy requirements on the one side, and biological and environmental requirements on the other, would be made through adoption of proposals based on the investigations described in the paper.
