Dynamic problems at accidental excitation

Dea Diklić, Dejan Diklić

Abstract

The analysis of influence exerted on structures by seismic motion is presented in the paper. The analysis has pointed to the level of significance of correlations among modal forms, spectral density of response level, and the mean square value of structural response. It is demonstrated that this analysis is the way towards simplification of complex calculations that must currently be made to obtain response of a structure exposed to accidental seismic excitation, simulated by white noise.

Keywords
spectral densities of response level, stochastic soil motion models, accidental vibration, white noise
