Three-dimensional analysis of overreinforced concrete girders

Abstract

Results of the numerical study about the analysis of overreinforced concrete girders are presented and discussed in the paper. The MASA program for the tree-dimensional nonlinear analysis of prereinforced concrete girders by finite element method is applied in the study. An another experimental study, independent from the above analysis and its results, was conducted for similar girder types. The authors have established that there is a good correspondence of results between the above analysis and the independent experimental study.
