Evaluation of occupiable space in residential buildings

Stjepan Bezak, Branko Horvat, Miljenko Beler

Abstract

A general model for the evaluation of occupiable space in residential buildings, with relative value-based relationships of individual spaces in buildings, is presented. The model presented in the paper is based on appropriate elements of the multicriterial analysis, and a number of distinct and differently-weighted criteria are used in the evaluation. The methodology for determining the structure of convenience coefficients, defined as the sum of values of all coefficients, is also presented.
